How do we stop or quiet negative self-talk? Ethan Kross, PhD, is a professor at the University of Michigan and the Ross School of Business, and routinely studies how people have conversations with themselves. He’s most recently the author of Chatter: The Voice in Our Head, Why It Matters, and How to Harness It. Discover why distanced self-talk can help you calm chatter and venting can be less effective, why cleaning helps when you’re stressed, and why multiple tools are better than just one.
