At least one time each day, for the next three days, try something where there is a high chance of failure or rejection. This can be physical – try to walk or run a mile at a pace that is slightly faster than usual; it can be intellectual – share an idea that might be ignored or supported; or it can be social – try to connect with someone who might not be interested in connecting.
